Calahonda is an area located in the municipality of Mijas (Málaga) in the autonomous community of Andalucía, Spain. It is located halfway between the towns of Fuengirola and Marbella, although it is under the jurisdiction of the municipality of Mijas, except for the beach of Cabopino and its port, originally from Calahonda, which belongs to Marbella. It is dedicated to residential area and golf courses, with three large shopping areas that house most of the restaurants, cafes and pubs in the town, as well as several banks and supermarkets.
This holiday apartment is in 5 min walk to the well known sandy beach Playa Calahonda. Playa Calahonda Beach is located between the municipal districts of Mijas and Marbella, on the Costa del Sol of the province of Malaga, Andalusia, Spain. It is a semi-urban beach of golden sand located between Cabopino marina and El Bombo beach.
This holiday penthouse is conveniently located in literally few steps from The Lidl supermarket and shopping plaza with hairdressing salon, some restaurants and coffee shops in Calahonda. The second shopping plaza with to Mercadona supermarket and one of the best gyms in Marbella is also located there is in 3 minutes driving from the apartment.
The apartment has an easy access to the main motorways with public transportation. El Zoco shopping plaza with SuperSol supermarket, hardware store and bunch of restaurants and shops is in 2 minutes drive on your way to the toll motorway. Two minutes further up to the hill to the A7 toll road you will find Los Olivos shopping plaza with Mercadona supermarket.
The apartment is located between two large and well known shopping malls La Cañada and Miramar plaza, both in a 7 minutes drive in the opposite directions from the building.
Puerto Banus with its nightlife and fashion boutiques is only 15 minutes from the apartment.
Marbella centre with its charming Old town is a 7 minutes drive away
The apartment is also close to Cabopino Beach, also called Artola Beach, it's 4 min by car. It is an isolated beach of golden sand and moderate waves, located in a protected natural area called Dunas de Artola and next to the port of Cabopino, in the district of Las Chapas. It is a beach with a medium degree of occupation and with a nudist zone.
Málaga is 46 km from the apartment, while Marbella is 15 km away. The nearest airport is Malaga Airport, 39 km from Puerta del Mar apartment.

Final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations that are not paid in full by the final payment date will be cancelled and advance payment forfeited. A Security Deposit is required for each reservation. On selected properties, a guest may be offered the option to pay the remaining part of the payment upon arrival. Where a guest chooses this option, the following terms and conditions apply: The second payment should be made upon arrival to the property to a Rafleys Costa del Sol manager. Reservations that are not paid in full before entering the property will be cancelled and advance payment forfeited.
Short Term Cancellation Policy: If the Tenant Party cancels the reservation there is a penalty that depends of the number of remaining days before the start of the lease period: Less than 30 days: 100% of the advance payment The cancellation needs to be notified in writing. The cancellation date is the date when the document is received by the Advertiser. If the Tenant ends their stay before the departure date for any reason, they are expected to pay the entire price agreed for the lease.
Check – In Time: Check in time is after 4:00 P.M. Note: Check in begins at listed times, but cannot be guaranteed. During low season check in and check out time might be subject to availability. Property must be clean and inspected prior to occupancy.

Rental Occupancy and Age Requirements: Each property indicates the number of occupants allowed in a property at any one time. Guest agrees to keep the number of people occupying the premises at/or under the maximum persons allowed. The individual making the reservation must be 25 years of age or older and must occupy the rental property the entire term of the reservation. Any breech of the above policies will result in termination of this agreement, including possible eviction of the property and possible forfeiture of any monies paid.

Otherwise, you can send us an email and we will take it from there. It is important to note that there is a 25% deposit on the booking price to secure the dates. Thirty days before arrival, we will request the remaining balance for your stay. There are no hidden or extra charges. Additionally, any extra services such as airport transfer or additional cleaning, will be added to the balance only if you choose it.
You pay your damage deposit by credit card as a part of your second payment before your arrival. We DO NOT accept cash payments of damage deposit. We do not charge you unless damage occurs. In the event of any damage, you are advised to call us so we can assess the damage together. Failure to do this will result in our decision on the value of the damage being final.
Damage deposit paid together with the second payment is back to your bank account in a week or so after your departure, depending on your bank location.
