Andalusia would not be Andalusia and holidays in Costa del Sol just wouldn’t be the same without fiery and passionate Flamenco dancing. Flamenco is an art form that has grown out of the folk traditions and culture, music and dance styles of Southern Spain. The first record of flamenco is in a book of 1774, Las Cartas Marruecas, by José Cadalso. It has grown to be popular around the world – but holidays in Costa del Sol or elsewhere in Andalusia are the only way to see flamenco performed the way it should be – in a way that is true to its Andalusian roots. If you are planning your holidays in Costa del Sol, you may wish to take in a flamenco show. To help you catch a good one, here are just a few of the best shows in the various settlements along the Costa del Sol:

Kelipé is one family-run venue in Malaga where you can catch a flamenco performance. It is located in the historic heart of the city and offers a venue with an intimate and simple but emotionally charged setting.
